Connectix slimline FTTX Surface Mount Outlets (SMO) are suitable for use within enterprise LAN, Fibre-to-the-Home (FTTH) and Fibre-tothe-Business (FTTB) deployments. The Connectix SMO provides connectivity options inside homes, apartments and flats and used within utility cupboards (Connectix Residential Enclosures) or as a fibre distribution point within a multiple dwelling unit (MDU). Offering connectivity for work area UK backboxes (86mm x 86mm) the SMO is also very popular for installation within enterprise LANs and supports GPON applications.

When installed as part of Connectix POL solution the system will deliver excellent performance with minimal loss and ease of installation. The SMO units feature a splice tail / patch cord slack management suitable for most common fibre drop and backbone feeds including 900um, 1.8mm and 2mm cables, suitable for 1 or 2 x SC/APC or SC/PC simplex adaptors or 1 x LC/APC Duplex, LC/PC duplex adaptors or multimode variants.
