PatchLock RJ45 Patch Leads are a simple yet highly effective way of preventing accidental or malicious removal of cables on your network. PatchLock leads are 100% compatible with any standard RJ45 socket resulting in no extra costs involved with retrospectively upgrading existing sockets.

These Cat5e PatchLock Cables have been made using the highest quality shielded FTP Cat5e Cable and FTP RJ45  Cat5e Plugs.

Insertion and removal is made using a simple key tool.

Instructions for Use:

Locking

Insert the RJ45 plug into the RJ45 socket as normal. Push the coloured locking lever forward to lock the plug.

Unlocking

To remove the plug from the socket use the Boot Key Removal Tool. The coloured protective cap must be removed before the tool can be used.

Attach the Removal Key to the rear of the coloured locking lever as shown below.

Pull the Removal Key away from the plug to unlock the coloured locking lever.

To remove the key from the coloured locking lever, lift upwards until the key detaches. Care should be taken not to use excessive force as this may damage the key.

The RJ45 plug can then be removed from the socket in the normal way by compressing the latch.
